I went through a process towards the end of this school year learning about the history of my home town and school. Through lots of research and an interview with a peer who has lived in Arlington 40+ years, I confirmed that my community has drastically changed over the past few decades, but that there are drastic consequences that may begin occur. I originally created a Powerpoint presentation to express my findings, and was delighted to hear that my presentation was shown to the principal to attempt to better my school community next year. The presentation is linked below. Hopefully some of you may be able to apply my discussed concepts to your own lives, and attempt to make a difference in your community as well.
